Depending on your event needs we offer our clients the choice of 2 types of catering options, which include either a delivery option or an on-site service option.
Out of the 2 options, the delivery option is the more budget friendly option.
DELIVERY
Menu freshly prepared at our Smokehouse.
We will deliver the food to your venue.
Food packaged in throwaway bain-maries.
Heating instructions provided.
This option allows the client to serve themselves.

ON-SITE
Two assigned Chefs for the day.
Chefs will freshly prepare the entire menu at your venue.
Our team will setup the serving table and buffet.
Provide the chaffing dishes, burners and serving equipment.
We will serve your guests.

FAQS
Common questions our customers ask about our spitbraai catering services.
How many people can eat from spitbraai?
The sizes of whole lambs vary between 12 kg – 27 kg at the most, anything heavier is most likely mutton and you don’t want that. To give you an idea a 15 kg lamb which is normally the entry level size for whole spitbraai lambs can feed between 30 – 35 guests comfortably. A lamb weighing between 25 kg – 27 kg can feed up to 50 – 60 guests comfortably.
What do you serve with spitbraai?
With our most popular Lamb Spitbraai Package we serve the following:

- Jamaican jerk chicken
- Roasted baby potatoes smothered in caramelised onions

Our clients are also welcome to swap out items and replace with items which might incur additional costs.
How much is a lamb on the spit?
Our most basic spitbraai package starts from R100 per person.
How long does a spit braai take?
Depending on the size of our lambs, it can take between 3 – 3.5 hours to spit roast an entire lamb in our unique spitbraai barrels.
Are you able to customize your set menus
Yes, absolutely! You are more than welcome to suggest your alternative choices or one of our qualified spitmaster chefs can recommend a few.
Are you halaal?
We are halaal friendly. All our spitbraais are halaal, however some menu items are not halaal.
Do you cater for other dietary requirements?
